Spring came inside the gallery on April 10, and it was exactly what it was meant to be.

When Arun Drummond set out to create the In Bloom Garden Party, the vision was simple but meaningful. He wanted to take the energy of the exhibition on the walls and extend it into the room itself. Five women artists had already created something beautiful. The Garden Party was his way of honoring that spirit by building a community around it.

He brought together women entrepreneurs and gave them a platform to amplify their businesses in a setting that felt as alive as the art surrounding it. Guests sipped wine, shopped, connected with the artists, and spent an evening in a space that felt warm, celebratory, and full of intention.

It was the first of many.

Arun's vision for Drummond Studio Gallery has always been about more than the work on the walls. It's about what happens when people walk through the door and feel like they belong there. The Garden Party was a proof of concept for something bigger, a model for how art can anchor community, lift up businesses, and create evenings that people actually remember.

In Bloom closes with its Closing Reception on Friday, April 17 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Drummond Studio Gallery, 12 Line Street, Charleston. Admission is free and everyone is welcome.
